- June – Istanbul, Turkey, will host the 2027 European Games.[2]
- June 24–July 25 – The 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup is scheduled to be held in Brazil.
- August 10 – The 2027 Kenyan general election will be held. Incumbent president William Ruto will be eligible for reelection.
- August 22 – If not triggered earlier, the next Spanish general election will occur no later than this date.
- August 27–September 12 – The 2027 FIBA Basketball World Cup is scheduled to be held in Qatar.[3]
